Vista Recovery

We’re a ministry focused on leading people through a discipleship journey, to recovery. By working through biblical steps within an authentic community, people have found freedom from substance abuse, pornography, fear, control, anger, and many other personal struggles.

Helping Hands

Helping Hands Ministry cultivates an environment in which individuals and families are empowered to work out of systemic poverty and toward wholeness, through ministries of relief, development, and advocacy.

Body of Christ Clinic

The Body of Christ Community Clinic seeks to provide basic health and dental care services to residents in the East Bell County area of Texas who have no health insurance or no means to obtain basic health and dental care services.

Services

  • Non-emergency, basic primary care (examples: rash, ear infections, urinary tract infections)
  • Treatment of chronic health conditions (diabetes, obesity, hypertension, high cholesterol)
  • Basic Dental care (screening, fillings, extractions, cleaning)

The Temple HELP center seeks to provide financial relief for housing and utilities when funds are available for individuals and families in need.

Services

Provides financial assistance for rent and utilities as funds are available and they take evictions as a priority.

Requirements

  • Proof of income (check stub from last 30 days)
  • SSI letter (if on SSI)

Temple Community Free Clinic

Temple Community Clinic, with the support of donors and community partners, delivers quality care for the uninsured and underinsured within the healthcare gap. By providing access to leading doctors, social work services, and health and wellness education – we treat the whole patient and deliver results for a healthier community.

CTLC is an evangelical cooperative ministry of churches, individuals, businesses, and organizations working together to meet the food and clothing needs of individuals in order to introduce them to Christ.

Community Life Counseling Center

The Community Life Counseling (CLC) center at UMHB provides high-quality counseling services to Belton and the surrounding communities. Clients see master’s-level graduate students in counseling sessions that are supervised by fully licensed and Texas board-approved supervisors. Fees are based on a sliding scale, depending on the household income of the client, but it is the center’s policy to accept clients regardless of their ability to pay.
